In this project, "Scorci di Puglia", my focus is on Bari and on the splendid Apulian landscapes. In my self-portraits my figure blends into the surrounding landscape. The mixtures of symmetry, light and colours, create a whole environment within the subject. My face is almost imperceptible and by removing any specific identity, the viewer can identify with the subject of the photo and connect with the emotions or feelings represented in the image. The chromatic choice is another important aspect of my images. The colours are never saturated, but they have delicate and pastel shades like pale blue and the tenuous yellow. Every frame is perfectly studied, as well as the composition and the images reveal a simplicity of the shapes and a perfect architectural symmetry and perpendicularity of the shot.

This self-portrait is an exploration of femininity ex pressing pain, sorrow, joy, melancholy and euphoria.

Beauty is in the simplicity of forms. A minimal and surrealistic scenario as well as the use of bright colors create a dreamy world where I can find a perfect balance and a perfect connection with all my hidden thoughts. Its a way to reach my deepest soul.

My figure merges with nature. It means developing into something different, more mature. It is reaching a further stage in life. It is escaping from the darkness, growing, improving and possibly blossoming into something new.
